If we were you, we’d make connections with people currently on Twitter – look for people within your industry or other like minded individuals and “follow” them. See if they “follow” you back. If they don’t — invite them to do so. Since it’s a social tool, you must be interested in what they post too and interact with them a bit. Then in turn, you can link to some of your blog posts and say something interesting and intriguing to get them to click on the post. Make sure enough people are following you on there in order for them to see your blog. Also when editing your profile — be sure to put the URL so that people can see it.

Absolutely, Twitter is an amazing place to find like minded individuals. It is not a haven for spammers so use it in context.

Build relationships with other Twitter users by following a few of people you know in your topic.

Check there profile to see who they are following and who is following them. Check those profiles and start following those who are interesting to you.

Once you start following you will in turn see followers right back.

Post interesting of basic stuff. Like I just had coffee or whatever. Believe me what ever you are doing twitter users will find interesting. Post a lot.

Every now and again throw your links to your blogs in.

dumping a bunch of links into twitter will not gain you the traffic you are looking for. Sharing your day with twitter and dropping your blog in now and again will.

Also be sure to put your blog in your profile and add a interesting picture to gain attention.
