Ok. My phone has WiFi, and I use my WiFi to get on the Internet on my phone. If I plugged my Usb Charger into the back of my Xbox 360 Elite with my phone attached (which my phone is an HTC EVO 4G). Would it get me online with Xbox Live? And my computer doesn’t work it needs to be updated, which really sucks because it broke right when I got my 12 Month Xbox Live MemberShip. Please Respond.

Just an interesting question i wanted to ask. Well I have my main group of friends at my school (10-15 people) and we go out on weekends, holidays etc and we chill all the time, its normal. Im pretty close with 3-4 guys out of the group too. The thing is i dont really talk to other people i know that go to other schools (the ones i dont see everyday)
All the teenagers these days are using blackberry messenger (bbm) and facebook and wont stop chatting to everyone.. but i was just wondering what everyone else is like becuase i dont start conversations with anyone apart from the group i know because i just feel no need to..
If they talk to me yeah its cool ill talk back but otherwise i dont really see the point of starting a conversation, i probably dont know them that well anyway. Basically do you go out of your way to talk to people you dont see very often? Maybe its just me who doesnt do it.. (im lazy and would rather go to the gym or something productive)

Like you pay your rent I’m saveing for a apartment to buy. The mortage on it is 1200. Then pgne bill gas bill water bill say you want cable an internet. Phone bill. That’s like 1700 for everything all together an I make 5000 a month. Ny can’t be that hard to live in

THIS IS A LOT TO READ. IF YOU AREN’T INTERESTED IN READING ALL OF THIS, PLEASE BE COURTEOUS ENOUGH TO SIMPLY MOVE ONTO ANOTHER QUESTION.

I’ve been getting to know this man (one of my older sister’s best friends since childhood), and he told me about six months back that he’s had feelings for me for a long time.

We haven’t dated or anything (he’s in NYC and I’m in FL), but he makes it pretty clear that he hopes that our friendship could evolve into a relationship. We’ve been talking via Skype, phone, and instant messaging, and it’s been going well. I think part of it is that I feel safe being 1,000 miles away, so I can judge whether or not I trust him in the comfort of my own home.

Anyways, he’s a pretty sexual person, which wouldn’t be an issue except in this scenario. He’s made it explicitly clear that he would love to sleep with me, but he also told me that he won’t force anything on me since we’re just friends (and may always be just friends). He did, however, “warn” me that relationships can’t work without sex, and that when I get into a relationship, it’s something I’ll have to oblige to. I agree with him that sex is really important in most romantic relationships; but I didn’t like the tone he said it in, and I thought it was a little commanding. Except for my older sister (who he’s known since childhood), I’m the only woman he’s gotten to know that didn’t immediately jump into the sack with him.

When I told him I generally can’t afford to make frequent visits to NYC (I’m a working college student), he said that he wants to pay for my ticket. He seemed pretty adamant about it, too. I’d love to hang out with him in person, don’t get me wrong; but that seems like a little much for him to be spending on me (no matter how much money he has). He’s a handsome, smart, and caring guy, but he has a chauvinistic streak in him (and I know this from things he’s said before, like “most women are sluts, but men can’t be sluts because it’s harder for them to get laid”). I don’t know how deep that streak runs, and I don’t care to find out this early on.

I feel uncomfortable with it because first, I don’t like having people spend large amounts of money on me (and that’s what he’s used to doing with women). In fact, I hate it. It makes me feel like…I dunno, a prostitute or something. Which brings me to the second reason why I’m uncomfortable: I’m afraid he’ll “expect” something from me in return (i.e. sex). Like I said, he would never force anything on me, but I’m afraid he’ll wind up thinking I “used” him or something.

He’s pretty wealthy and is used to women getting money out of him, so I can definitely see him assuming that I abused his wealth for a free plane ticket. He’s of the opinion that most women are shallow and just want his money, but he also doesn’t realize that it’s not so much about women taking his money as it is him freely spending it on them, in order to impress them. When they don’t stick around or at least put out, he labels them “gold-diggers.”

Anyways, I know this is long, but are my concerns justified? I really like him, but I’m afraid that letting him buy me a plane ticket to NYC would put me between a rock and a hard place: If I decide to keep things relatively appropriate, he’ll think I’m a gold-digger who used him; and if I don’t, then I’ll feel cheap. If I refuse a plane ticket this time (like I have three times before), he gets anxious that maybe I don’t like him or trust him.

The thing is, I don’t trust him. I don’t know him well enough. I wish I could just straight up tell him “Hey, I don’t want to accept a plane ticket from you because then I’ll feel like I have to sleep with you or be called a gold-digger. All I really want right now is a good friend.” I know that would really offend him, though, especially if he realizes I could be right. We’re surprisingly compatible people despite our differences, so I would appreciate avoiding any…er, “awkwardness.”

Please let me know what you think. It’s making me really anxious because I want to be on good terms with him, but I also don’t want to put myself in any compromising situations.

As we all know, audio played through headphones plugged into the headphone jack of a Macbook Pro sounds sort of distorted and gross. I’m wondering if the audio output through USB headphones sounds better. I can’t check because I don’t have my usb phones with me right now. Basically, is it more worth my while to get USB headphones, or standard headphones to use with my laptop?

Ok so I’m a 17 year old girl and I’m being forced by my parents to go with my grandma to take her sister (my great aunt) back to Washington State from California after a relatives wedding. It is going to be a 5 day trip on a secluded island off of Washington state. I went to her house 3 years ago with my cousin and grandma for 15 days and barely made it out alive. My great aunt eats old expired food from like 10 years ago and she abuses her dog. My grandma is practically senile and all she does is nag me. I’m not going with my cousin this time so I’m kind of freaking out. Another thing is that the trip is during my last week of summer and right in the middle of labor day weekend when I wanted to hang with all my friends. There is literally NOTHING to do up there except listen to these crazy old ladies talk to themselves and eat expired food. What are some fun things I could do while I’m there? Oh and there is no internet, phone, or tv in her house so all I will have is my cell phone and I don’t get internet on it, just texting. Is there a way that I could just get out of the whole trip? Please guys suggest anything cuz I’m just about willing to do anything at this point! Her house is pure torture!!!!!! If I do go should I vlog the trip and post it on youtube or would that be dumb???
